The Sri-Lankan Business Association Queensland (SBAQ) proudly hosted its initial gathering.

Headed by Vajira Jayasooriya, an initial group was formed to establish a business forum for Sri Lankan businesses in Queensland. As discussed individually, many Sri Lankans are engaged in various business sectors; however, only a few are aware of one another or have established connections.

The main goal of this group is to connect Sri Lankan entrepreneurs, facilitate the sharing of knowledge and contacts, support one another, and discuss common challenges faced in their business operations.
